“Population Genetics in a Fish Bowl”
I really liked that there were many different avenues to learn the material. It accommodated every learning style.
What were your least favorite activities and assignments and why?
The labs seemed to take me a very long time to finish.
How you will be able to use materials learned in BI 101?
I have learned allot from this class. The biology basics will help me in persuing my degree in psychology.

Most favorite assignments: Virtual microscopes and looking at specimens up close.
Least favorite assignments: The labs on historical timeline.
How you will be able to use the materials learned: In understanding the food webs and how there are so many factors contributing to population in certain areas.

I took this class because I needed it for my degree
I liked learning about the different sea creatures
I wasn’t a fan of the worm dissection and I didn’t understand some of the labs it took me a minute to figure out how to get links to work.
I will use these when I am out in nature looking at plants and what not

A reason you have taken this class?: To complete my prerequisites for my degree.
What were your most favorite activities and assignments and why?: I enjoyed the labs.
What were your least favorite activities and assignments and why?: There was almost too much material to review and then knowing what material was most relevant to tests was difficult.
How you will be able to use materials learned in BI 101?: I will be able to apply some of the knowledge to my gardening and to my use of consumer products.
Your suggestions on BI 101 online course improvements: Highlight the general study topics that will be most relevant to tests. Also, allowing more time on test would be helpful. This allows students that read slower and process questions at a slower than average pace the time to answer the questions. 1.5 minutes per question would be helpful. I enjoyed the material and all the videos they really helped reinforce the textbook and provided another mode of learning.

My name is LuAnn and I took this course Summer of 2023. I chose this class because it sounded interesting. I loved doing the labs. My favorite was the microscope. I don’t believe there where any I did not like. I believe this course can be of benefit in my job as an Instructional aide.
Thank you for sharing the video concerning plastic bag consumption. I feel EVERYONE is capable of being responsible enough to bring their own reusable bags into the store. My family has been practicing this for over 15 years. Habits are easy to create and in this case, cheaper than the alternative. Start practicing today. We will all thank you tomorrow.
My name is Jade Lee, I took this class Summer of 2022. I wanted to take this class since I am choosing to pursue a career as a veterinarian doctor, and I need to meet my prerequisites while I am attending UCC. I greatly enjoyed how fairly laid back this class was, though I would have preferred it in person especially for lab work since some of it was hard to understand. Though overall it was an enjoyable experience as one of my first classes here at UCC.
